Injury Prevention Screening for Your Whole Roster
With team doctor experience for the PPA, Mavs D-Town Crew, and USA Cheerleaders, Dr. Lovelace brings sideline-level screening to sports clubs, schools, and organizations across Dallas, Plano, Frisco, and the surrounding area.
Why Screen Before an Injury Happens
Catch Movement Dysfunction Before It Becomes a Season-Ending Injury
Most injury-prevention conversations start after the injury. Using the same Kinetisense 3D movement assessment technology trusted by sports medicine and performance programs nationwide, we run functional movement screens on full rosters across Dallas (youth, high school, or adult) to flag movement dysfunction and asymmetries before they turn into injuries and missed seasons.
This isn't a generic pre-participation physical. It's an objective, data-backed screening using state-of-the-art technology, run on a preseason, in-season, and postseason cycle, catching what a standard sports physical misses and keeping your roster on the field all year.
Our Team Doctor Roles
Real Sideline Experience
Sideline Injury Assessment
When an athlete goes down, we're right there: real-time evaluation to determine severity and next steps, not a same-day scramble to find care.
Return-to-Play Decisions
Clear, objective criteria for when an athlete is ready to get back in, balancing performance pressure with actual healing.
Coordinated Care
We work directly with athletic trainers, coaches, and team staff so care fits inside your organization's existing structure, not around it.

Screening Day
What a Screening Day Looks Like
5 to 7 Minutes Each
When your club sends athlete information ahead of time, each player's profile is ready before we start, and the assessment moves along at about 5 to 7 minutes per athlete.
About 10 Minutes Each
Without advance information, we build each profile on the spot, so each assessment takes about 10 minutes.
Your Facility or Ours
We bring the 3D movement assessment technology to you, or your team comes to us.
At one assessment station, that works out to roughly 9 to 12 athletes an hour with advance information and about 6 an hour without. Times are approximate and vary by group.
What You Receive
What Coaches and Directors Receive
Coaches and directors get an overview with all of the assessment data in one place. They can compare each athlete's results against their peers to see what needs to be addressed.
The sample report shows what that looks like.
Sports We Screen
Volleyball, basketball, hockey, soccer, football, track and field, cross country, and more.
Athlete Privacy and Consent
- For patients under 18, a parent or guardian consents before treatment or assessments begin.
- For teams, the organization gets parent or guardian authorization before any assessment is scheduled.
- For schools, parents sign consent forms that go in the school record.
- Each player and their parents receive an individual report.

How Screening Is Priced
Screening programs are built around your group's size, goals, and schedule, so we quote each one individually. A quote depends on your roster size, the number of screening days, and the location. Schedule a discovery call and we'll put together a plan that fits.
